  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Merchandising Specialist assists the Jewelry merchandising team in managing vendor communication and product information acquisition and distribution. Maintains product databases focused on data entry of final product information and communicates item completion to copy writers and internal partners.

    Essential Functions

    1. Manage communication with vendors about assortment inclusion and deadlines
    2. Coordinate and manage new vendor set up
    3. Request complete information on each new product and finalize all necessary information in internal data bases. Communicate completion to internal partners
    4. Coordinate information distribution to copywriters to meet deadlines
    5. Review initial copy for accuracy and communicate rewrite requests to copywriters
    6. Act as the point of contact for Customer Service product questions
    7. Compile and distribute carnet to Creative Services for photo shoots

    This position is temporary with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a retail or catalog environment
    2. Bachelor’s degree preferred
    3. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
