Located on tropical Sanibel Island, The Sundial Beach Resort and Spa has an immediate opening for an outgoing, full time Host / Hostess / Cashier to greet guests as they arrive and set the tone for their experience when entering our F&B operation. They should be greeted with a warm and friendly demeanor. Host / Hostess / Cashier should be knowledgeable of resort operations and suggest menu items when being seated. They should check with guests from time to time to assure their satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintains a guest focus while performing duties
Assumes responsibility for quality guests' experience
Welcome and greet guests
Seating guest in a timely and welcoming manner
Payments are immediately entered into the micros system
Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period
Inform the server about new guests in their section
Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant and resort functions and services
Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment
Complete opening and closing side work
Maintain clean and stocked host desk
Maintain clean and stocked pizza shop for guests use.
Responsibilities also include filing orders, receiving money, and carrying out suggestive selling while managing all cash issued and received during the shift
Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and beverage service.
Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
Our compensation package includes an $ 12.00 hourly wage, PTO after 90 days , paid holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401k with company match, dining and travel discounts and paid tolls for Sanibel & Cape Coral!
