Job Description

In Big Data Lab, you will deal with 300-million user data to test, calibrate, and deploy machine learning models with support from a group of talented and friendly coworkers, including business analysts, data scientists, algorithm developers, and system engineers. The challenges from scalability and high peak throughput on retail promotion days will be thrillingly exciting, which is a highly desired experience for every software engineer and data scientist.

All experience levels are welcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use vast amounts and types of retail and other data to build predictive models, including but not limited to credit risk, fraud detection, policy abuse and etc.
• Continue monitoring and optimizing model performance in production
• Broad data exploration, deep data understanding, and close collaboration with business team and engineering team
• Fast response to business needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of master's degree with statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, computing, and/or related.
• 2+ years of work experience in a professional environment.
• Experience in machine learning modeling for predictive services.
• Solid knowledge of Spark, hive, R, Python, SQL, and related.
• Must be able to read and write in Chinese.
• Modeling experience for retail and/or fraud domains will be plus.
