    Job Summary:

    The selected candidate will be responsible for the loading, transporting, and unloading of petroleum products at Sunoco/Allied Energy and customer locations. The driver must have a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, DOT regulations and obeying federal, state, and local laws.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of all equipment to ensure that all mechanical, safety, and emergency components are in good working order
    • Properly inventory and stock trailer with required equipment
    • Provide safe and timely transportation to and from customer job sites
    • Comply with all company and customer safety and delivery requirements
    • Obey all weight station requirements before and after loading
    • Correctly and legibly complete all work orders, logs and other paperwork required by the company
    • Turn in complete paperwork daily
    • Report any accident or safety concern to management immediately
    • Stay in communication with dispatcher throughout the day
    • This position will require some OTR


    Required Skills


    Required Experience
    • Must have a Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
    • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Must pass DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing
    • Must meet qualifications for a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
    • Must meet qualifications for a Doraville, GA badge
    • Must be able to life petroleum hoses with product in them to properly "walk" and "drain" them
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift all types of tools and equipment weighing fifty pounds or more
