Our Assistant Managers are outgoing, energetic and positive leaders who represent PBT as brand ambassadors, develop their sales teams to perform at a high level, and create Raving Fans of our team members and customers. Responsibilities:

Actively recruits, selects, and orients go-getters and goal-setters to join our PBT team

Achieves sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff including coaching and counseling

Schedules and assigns team members and follows up on work results

Achieves revenue and profitability goals through effective monitoring of controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and expenses

Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with all legal requirements

Manages and assigns tasks to ensure a safe, clean, sanitized, and organized store that is customer-focused

Cultivates relationships with customers and team members to create Raving Fans

Assists Store Manager with local store marketing efforts

Creates a positive, motivating, supportive, team-based environment

Investigates and resolves customer concerns in a timely and professional manner

Analyzes daily sales and expense information and performs all other financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits

Safeguards and accounts for all money received and is responsible for banking requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven experience in retail/customer service environment

1 year supervisory experience

Ability to effectively influence others

Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time for 7+ hours per day

Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance

Reliable transportation and flexible availability including nights and weekends
