Sunrise Respiratory Care is seeking an experienced, full time DME Customer Service Representative to join our quickly growing team in Riverside. We are looking for an employee who is self-motivated, detail oriented, has the ability to multitask, has great communication skills and is extremely organized. Responsibilities:
Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME), primarily respiratory related equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP, Oxygen and Ventilators
Experience with medical insurances including Medicare, Medi-cal, PPO and managed care insurance plans with an understanding of Out of Network Provider billing.
Order intake which involves receiving orders, making sure they qualify under insurance guidelines, obtaining needed documents, dispatching orders and following up with patients, referrals and/or sales team.
Must know basic office skills involving computers, emailing, phone calls, printing and faxing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
*Brightree software experience is a plus.
Requirements:
Must have customer service experience in a healthcare setting
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance in performance of essential job functions
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Bilingual a plus
