    Suntiva, LLC, is seeking candidates for a contingent Procurement System Analyst role. The ideal candidate has functional procurement expertise and a desire to support procurement systems and related business system projects for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer.     DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Applying understanding of Federal procurement and acquisition regulations, policies, procedures, instruments and systems to support a DoD procurement organization;
    • Developing and delivering training specific to procurement concepts, specifically related to existing procurement systems (e.g., Standard Procurement System);
    • Developing and maintaining associated training documentation, desk guides, SOPs, etc.;
    • Applying understanding of system interfaces between procurement systems and external Federal/DoD systems (financial systems, etc.) to support functional process development and training initiatives;
    • Managing the implementation of functionality changes associated with the implementation of software releases (e.g., training development, strategic communications, etc.);
    • Interacting with the customer's procurement user community to support and resolve functional questions and problems;
    • Conducting data analyses, distilling results into key messages and courses of action and presenting findings and recommendations to customers;
    • Conducting system configuration analyses and documenting results;
    • Managing the implementation of functionality changes associated with the implementation of software releases (e.g., training development, strategic communications, etc.);
    • Supporting and promoting functional compliance with DoD and Federal procurement data standards;
    • Working with customers to identify, develop and execute risk mitigation plans;
    • Working closely with functional leads, project managers, and other SMEs to develop and implement business process designs, keeping the customer's goals and strategies in mind; 
    • Interacting with product and technical support help desks to obtain resolution to product issues; and
    • Participating in the development of technical and functional documentation, SOPs, etc. for various project deliverables and phases.

    WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

    • Intermediate knowledge of DoD procurement systems (Standard Procurement System (SPS)/Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) knowledge preferred);
    • Intermediate (or greater) understanding of Federal and DoD procurement regulations and instruments and associated system functions, business rules and data elements;
    • Ability to work on a disparately located team, and at times, work autonomously to meet assigned priorities and tasks;
    • Ability and desire to learn procurement system functional configuration concepts and techniques;
    • Understanding of, and ability to execute data gathering, analysis and reporting concepts;
    • Ability to translate customer problem and risk statements into action plans;
    • Experience with managing procurement data in systems integrated with SPS/PD2, such as EDA, FPDS-NG is strongly desired;
    • 2-4 years' experience working within DoD procurement systems (SPS preferred);
    • 1-2 years' experience performing functional administration of DoD procurement systems preferred, but not required;
    • Experience developing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), training aids, desk guides, etc.;
    • Strong communication skills, customer service skills, and attention to detail with ability to distill large amounts of information into concise communications that resonate with customers;
    • Ability to be flexible, prioritize workload on a daily basis, and work with project leadership to routinely evaluate and adjust priorities to meet the customer's needs;
    • Self-starter approach in a hybrid office/remote-work environment;
    • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced customer environment; and
    • Minimum Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret (Top Secret is preferred and will ultimately be needed, but not required to start).

    IF YOU HAVE THIS, IT'S A PLUS:

    • Experience as a Contract Specialist/Contracting Officer supporting DoD contracts;
    • DAWIA Certification; and/or
    • DAU SPS Functional System Administration Certification(s).
