WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Providing support to Procurement Desktop -Defense (PD2) contract writing system users for a DoD customer organization
- Managing access to procurement-related systems on the customer's behalf
- Leading initiatives to improve contract writing system analysis processes and associated system user experiences
- Interacting and coordinating with command service desk (CSD) to provide functional support to the customer's user community
- Providing experienced functional systems analysis skills, while working with functional and technical team members to troubleshoot wide-ranging client functional and technical issues
- Interacting with the customer's geographically-dispersed procurement user community to support functional Standard Procurement System / Procurement Desktop – Defense (SPS/PD2) service requests and incidents
- Assisting with system configuration audits, to include security model and user functionality reviews
- Managing functional change associated with the implementation of software releases
- Supporting and promoting compliance with DoD and Federal procurement data standards
- Working with customers to develop and execute data update strategies, risk mitigation plans, and standard operating procedures
- Working closely with cross-functional leads, project managers, and SMEs to ensure that process designs meet both tactical and strategic needs of the customer
- Participating in the development of technical and functional documentation, SOPs, etc. for various project deliverables and phases
- Participating in team meetings
- Participating in client and process meetings
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Secret security clearance
- 2-4 year experience as a Contracting Professional supporting DoD contracts
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Training associated with Contracting and Compliance (may obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Customer service skills
- Experience conducting online Training for administrators and users
PREFERRED
- 2-4 years' functional experience working within SPS/PD2
- Experience administering contract writing systems such as SPS/PD2
- Functional Experience with EBusiness and the Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2) User Community
- DAWIA or Acquisition/Procurement-related Certification(s)
- DAU SPS Functional System Administration Certification(s)
