  • Responsibilities

    Suntiva is looking for a contingent TRAINING COORDINATOR to apply their love of logistics and event scheduling to support a federal agency's training and development initiatives.  As the Training Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating--really orchestrating--all of the activities required to successfully steward training events from start to finish.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

    You will be the point-of-contact for students, instructors, subject matter experts for the Rockville, Maryland-based client's training programs.  Responsible for all logistics, you will be the go-to person on site who develops the master training calendars, coordinates with instructors, and ensures the training room is ready to go with necessary equipment and materials.

    You will apply your expertise in Learning Management Systems and training audio-visual requirements to successfully deploy classroom-based and virtual training programs.  You will also get to hone your documentation skills by developing the Training Center Operating Procedures and Training Manual.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED

    • BS Degree in Business, Psychology or related field
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Public Trust clearance
    • 5+ years of training program coordination, administration and logistics management
    • Ability to commute to Rockville, Maryland client site on a daily basis
    • Excellent project and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced, dead-line driven environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience implementing effective quality control processes
    • Proficiency in MS Office and virtual training technologies such as WebEx and Adobe Connect, working knowledge of Learning Management Systems
    • Experience growing project work through identifying client needs, writing proposals, developing white papers
