FIELD SALES PROS - CERTIFIED SYSTEM DESIGNERS
JOB SUMMARY: In the role of Certified System Designer, you will be a field sales pro accountable for growing the business in your assigned regional market - from conducting in-home/on-site assessments, to proposal creation, through closing the deal with clients. No cold calling necessary; pre-screened leads / qualified appointments are provided by the company. Ideal candidates for this role will leverage their expertise in home repair/improvement sales to identify and propose turn-key solutions to a diverse client base, to resolve basement and crawlspace waterproofing and foundation repair needs. DUTIES / REQUIREMENTS: • Perform in-home inspections • Diagnose basement waterproofing, foundation repair, & crawlspace issues • Analyze findings to design viable solutions to meet each clients’ unique needs • Create & present proposals using PowerPoint on iPad • Provide clients with detailed descriptions of all facets of project, including scope of work proposed, timing, pricing • Close the deal - secure customer agreement to move the project forward • Continually improve in executing the sales process • Prepare project proposals, technical reports, quotes • Partner with Production and Field Ops teams to help drive projects to completion • Focus on providing 5 star customer service experience throughout all client interactions • Achieve results based upon a goal-oriented strategy • Job is primarily based in assigned market region; however, some travel to other regions/states may be required • May work remotely to cover assigned market, but candidate must be able to attend meetings/training at local office as needed • Work is typically during business hours, but must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
WORK EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous experience in waterproofing or foundation repair a plus, but not required • Relevant experience in: Residential real estate, Home inspection, Home improvement, Window/siding/roofing/HVAC • Strong sales experience • Excellent customer service, follow up skills • Computer savvy: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required to produce presentations, briefings, spreadsheets, reports, correspondence, project support, proposals • Good verbal & written communication skills • Able to establish and maintain positive relationships • Strong work ethic: never sacrifices integrity for profit • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Working in confined workspaces that may require crawling, kneeling, crouching • Ability to withstand working in different weather environments including extreme cold and heat • Carrying, climbing, pulling, sitting, stooping • Standing for extended periods of time • Talking, hearing, walking, visual acuity to determine neatness, reading, preparing & proofreading data • Working in areas with poor indoor air quality
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Must possess and maintain a clean, valid driver license • Must have reliable transportation to serve assigned market • Be able to pass background check and drug test • Minimum of High school diploma or GED equivalent
