ABOUT THE ROLE

SUPER73 is hiring a CMF / Graphic Designer III to work ONSITE AT OUR IRVINE, CA HQ!

CMF / Graphic Designer III will focus on the elevation of Super73 vehicles and accessories by developing the next generation of color, materials, and graphics.  Working within multidisciplinary teams the position requires both long-term development strategies as well as adapting to more rapid paced projects.

A passionate designer who has a demonstrated body of production work in the colors, materials, and graphics world. You can operate both autonomously and with clear direction. You work quickly and efficiently to produce quality concepts that meet the criteria-based directions. You can clearly demonstrate directions and goals within a team and can lead when necessary.  You are fluent in a process driven design environment.  Most importantly you are ready to join a fast paced, exciting new studio executing world class designs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Creating highly creative CMF/Graphic proposals that feed and inspire while meeting criteria
• Work within teams demonstrating scheduling, strategy, and intent reporting to Director of Design
• Reviewing and coordinating executive presentations in a professional manner
• Lead CMF/Graphic initiatives
• Reviewing & issuing tech-paks clearly communicating direction and objectives to suppliers.
• Providing benchmarks & analysis of cross industry trends (Trans/Fashion/Product Design/Tech)
• Collaboration with vendors ensuing intent and across the entire development
• Contribute to the expansion of the design departments overall capabilities via best practice and or network
• Clear & effective evaluation methods supporting intent and fit & finish

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Successfully completed degree in graphic, transportation or product design or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of professional experience in in the field
• Creativity, sense of form and general feeling for trends
• Strong visual and oral communication including high level Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign / PowerPoint knowledge is required
• Communication, teamwork, and leadership in a rapid paced environment
• Microsoft Office Fluent
• Experience in process driven design from concept to production
• Meets requirements for the Color Vison Acuity Test, and must be proficient in color systems and basic color theory

BONUS:

• Passion for motorcycles and or bicycles is a plus.
• 3D Digital experience including graphic application methods (Rhino/Alias/Etc)
• Skills in storytelling as well as advanced presentation skills highly appreciated
