PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A HYBRID TEMPORARY ROLE, WHICH WILL REQUIRE TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS TO BE IN OUR DOWNEY OFFICE LOCATION.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Under the general supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, the Accounting Clerk/Cash Deposit Processor is responsible for preparing daily deposit and check list for payment posting & distribution of daily mails.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort and identify daily mails for check payment received
• Separate check received as Insurance, Private Pay, and Other Income (Non AR related payments)
• Verify important information on the check such as “payable to”, check number, date, and amount. (The check amount must be the same as remittance total. For private pay checks, she/he needs to write the information on the payment stub that comes along with the payment.)
• Deposit the checks received by scanning them to the bank lockbox (Portal)
• Record the daily deposits into the piggy bank for posting
• Maintain a professional safe and clean work environment.
• Understand and adheres to all of SuperCare Health company policies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required by Accounting Supervisor/Controller
• Must meet minimum of monthly goals

EDUCATION AND OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Typing and 10-key skills
• Computer literate
• Be able to work on multiple tasks. Plan and prioritize actives to achieve results and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
