    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    Under the general supervision of the Training & Development Supervisor, the Customer Care Trainer is responsible for handling a variety of training related duties supporting the Customer Care team. The role will support the department's daily training activities and assist in creating Training policies, processes and relevant documentation/videos.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

    • Ensure newly hired Customer Care Team members complete basic training and onboarding. 
    • Develop all training material including documentation, assessments, job aids, training videos, etc. 
    • Maintenance of New Hire Training material and agendas. 
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to the new hire's direct supervisor and management on training progress and report any concerns that would impede the employee from successfully completing their job duties. 
    • Assess the impact of each training course on staff performance and patient satisfaction.
    • Analyze training and quality data to identify areas for improvement. 
    • Create and implement needed continuing education. 
    • Work as a liaison between the Training & Development Team and Customer Care Team to ensure all training needs are met.
    • Frequent collaboration with Customer Care Leadership to analyze and identify training needs. 
    • Treat all information within the scope of the position with appropriate confidentiality and security agreement.
    • Maintain a cooperative and cordial working relationship with all team members by representing the company's image with a positive reputation at the highest possible level.
    • Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times; both internally and externally.
    • Be able to work on multiple tasks, plan, prioritize activities to achieve results and meet deadlines. Make best use of work time to complete projects and assignments on schedule.
    • Performs any other duties that may be requested by direct Supervisor or Director.

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Previous background in Healthcare related position (preferably DME)
    • Work experience as a Customer Care Trainer or equivalent
    • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems
    • Instructional Design Software - Camtasia, Create, Powtoons, etc.   
    • Google Suite Products - Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc. 
    • Microsoft Products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. 
    • Detail oriented & strong organization skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
    • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
