OBJECTIVE

Seeking to obtain the technical expertise of one (1) Consultant in support of the Department of Human Resources (DHR) Enterprise Content Management (ECM) projects. The Consultant will serve as a resource in support of the current DHR ECM applications, as well as work on the upgrade of all the environments/platforms that support DHR’s ECM application suite. Such support may include, but not limited to, 1) recommendations to the applications’ design and architecture, 2) working with department’s solution provider on application issues, such as performance, 3) production application support, 4) application programming and/or enhancements, 5) data migration, 6) environment provisioning. The short-term need is for the consultant to provide support to various xCP projects including, Investigation Case Management System (ICMS), ECM upgrade remediation of the Electronic Personnel Record (ePR), and Business Process Management (BPM) applications using OpenText technologies of Documentum and xCelerated Composition Platform (xCP).

SCOPE

The work to be performed by the Consultant in the support/remediation/development of Documentum/OpenText applications, shall include, but not be limited to the following:

1. Work with the ECM team to obtain, document, and understand customer requirements for all DHR ECM projects.
2. Develop business and/or technical requirements documents as needed.
3. Using xCP, DQL, Java to develop application requirements
4. Install and configure Documentum 16x platform with xCP in HA
5. Prepare, document, and run test scripts
6. Work with customers and the clients ECM team to thorough perform unit and system test
7. Work with internal and external ECM support teams and DHR to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve current xCP application issues.
8. Prepare and implement changes, including system deployments, via the established Change Management process, and provide incident reports when requested by management.
9. Provide technical assistance, recommendations and/or solutions to the ECM team to improve xCP application system performance, or chronic application issues.
10. Work with software vendors’ technical support and customers to resolve issues.
11. Provide weekly status reports to team lead for assigned tasks.
12. Develop technical documentation for the ongoing and anticipated support of DHR applications
13. Transfer knowledge to the clients support staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Three (3) years’ experience within last five (5) years working as a senior developer with the responsibility of solution design.
2. Three (3) years’ experience within last five (5) years working with Documentum 7.x. and 16.X
3. Two (2) years’ experience within the last three (3) years in developing applications using xCP 2.x. and xCP 16.x
4. Two (2) years’ experience within the last three (3) years in developing applications using DFC.
5. Two (2) years’ experience within the last three (3) years in developing applications using Java.
6. Three (3) years of experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, and maintaining Documentum software in a Linux environment.
7. Two (2) years of experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, and maintaining EMC D2 software, and EMC xCelerated Composition Platform (xCP) software, including Content Server (CS), xPlore Server, Content Transformation Server (CTS), xCP application server, and other xCP components.
