    Superintendent 2 - Electrical | Kansas City, MO

    Are you an experienced Electrical Superintendent looking to build some of the most complex and technically advanced facilities in the country?

    A nationally recognized builder specializing in Mission Critical, Data Center, Advanced Manufacturing, and Industrial projects is seeking a Superintendent 2 - Electrical to support large-scale construction projects across the United States.

    This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading field operations, and has experience managing electrical scopes on complex commercial, industrial, data center, or mission-critical projects.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Lead electrical field operations from construction through turnover and commissioning
    • Manage subcontractors, field staff, and daily site activities
    • Drive project safety, quality, and production goals
    • Coordinate electrical installations, logistics, materials, and equipment
    • Participate in schedule development and execution
    • Lead daily coordination meetings and trade partner planning sessions
    • Work closely with project management, owners, engineers, and trade partners
    • Support commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities
    • Maintain project documentation, reports, and field records
    • Identify issues proactively and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward

    What We're Looking For

    • 5+ years of construction experience
    • 3+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience
    • Electrical construction experience required
    • Experience managing electrical subcontractors and field crews
    • Strong understanding of scheduling, safety, QA/QC, and project execution
    • Ability to lead projects ranging from approximately $15M-$50M+
    • Proficiency with construction technology and scheduling tools
    • Data center, mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing experience is highly preferred

    • Hyperscale data centers
    • Critical power infrastructure
    • Switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and electrical distribution
    • Commissioning and startup activities
    • Medium-voltage or high-voltage systems
    • Large-scale MEP coordination
    • Lean construction practices
