Job Title: Superintendent - Civil and Utilities

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Superintendent for Civil and Utilities to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in the management and execution of construction projects, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards possible.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and coordinate civil and utility construction projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Manage on-site personnel, ensuring that all team members understand project goals, timelines, and safety standards.
- Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure all specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, field reports, and change orders.
- Enforce all safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety and compliance among all site personnel.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a superintendent role with a focus on civil and utilities projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Proficiency in construction management software preferred.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites.
