    Pacific West Environmental & Infrastructure (PWE&I) is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on environmental remediation and infrastructure projects throughout the United States.

    Our work takes us where the projects are. From complex environmental remediation and earthwork to civil and infrastructure construction, our Superintendents lead the people, equipment, and field execution that bring challenging projects safely and successfully across the finish line.

    This an opportunity for an experienced field leader who enjoys variety, takes ownership of the jobsite, and knows how to turn a project plan into safe, productive field execution.

    Travel is an important part of this role and may be required up to 75% of the time. We provide a comprehensive travel package to support our Superintendents while they are in the field.

    THE ROLE

    As a Superintendent, you will have direct responsibility for day-to-day field execution of environmental remediation and infrastructure projects. You will lead crews, coordinate resources, drive production, and ensure that safety, quality, schedule, and customer expectations remain at the center of the work.

    You will:

    • Direct Foreman, Crew Leads, Operators, Laborers, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
    • Plan daily and look-ahead activities, including manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and site logistics.
    • Coordinate excavation, grading, hauling, material handling, site preparation, restoration, and other project-specific activities.
    • Maintain a strong focus on environmental compliance and execution in accordance with project plans, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead daily safety planning and reinforce stop-work responsibility and safe work practices throughout the project.
    • Monitor productivity, quantities, schedule, equipment utilization, and overall field performance.
    • Identify field challenges early and work with Project Managers and Project Directors to develop practical solutions.
    • Maintain accurate daily reports, production documentation, and other required field records.
    • Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, inspectors, regulators, vendors, and project stakeholders as needed.
    • Develop Foreman and emerging field leaders through coaching, delegation, and accountability.
    • Build a jobsite culture centered on safety, teamwork, accountability, quality and respect.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We are looking for field leaders who understand that successful environmental and infrastructure work requires more than simply getting production -- it requires disciplined planning, strong communication, and an uncompromising commitment to safety.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience as a Superintendent or senior field leader in environmental remediation, heavy civil, earthwork, infrastructure, or related construction.
    • Experience leading multiple crews, heavy equipment, subcontractors, and complex field activities.
    • Strong understanding of excavation, grading, site work, material handling, and heavy construction operations.
    • Environmental remediation experience strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to plan work, manage resources, and drive productivity while maintaining safety and quality.
    • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes of work, and documentation.
    • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, customers, inspectors, and field personnel.
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to pass a pre-employment/post-offer drug screen and physical.
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for project assignments.
