Our client is hiring an Underground Utilities Superintendent to lead field operations on infrastructure projects in the Charlotte area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in deep utility installation, trench safety, and crew supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily installation of storm, sanitary sewer, and waterlines
• Lead and manage crew members to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity
• Interpret survey data and maintain grade accuracy on utility work
• Plan and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials for deep excavations
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, timekeeping, and daily site reports

Requirements:

• 3+ years of underground utility or drainage/pipe installation experience
• Strong knowledge of trench safety and testing water/sewer lines
• Ability to interpret survey data and ensure work meets plan specs
• Demonstrated commitment to safety in high-risk environments
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
