We are expanding our team of talented leaders to support growth and strengthen our presence in Central Arkansas. As one of the region’s leading plumbing companies, the Westlake Group includes Westlake Plumbing (New Construction) and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing (Service). We are seeking a Superintendent of Plumbing to oversee daily on-site operations of residential and large-scale commercial plumbing projects, coordinating crews, subcontractors, inspections, and materials to ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plan. The ideal Superintendent takes pride in delivering high-quality projects, from small remodels to multi-year commercial builds, while managing multiple priorities with organization and foresight. Above all, you are committed to craftsmanship, safety, and executing every project with purpose and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations of construction projects on-site
Manage crew scheduling, work assignments, and quality control
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and job specifications
Coordinate inspections and walkthroughs with local authorities and GCs
Communicate daily with Project Manager regarding progress and site needs
Monitor material deliveries and ensure job satisfaction
Address on-site issues quickly and resolve conflicts
Maintain accurate records of work completed and daily logs
Enforce safety policies and leads by example in all jobsite behavior
Participate in planning meetings and assist with closeout documentation
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years plumbing experience, including leadership on construction sites
Journeyman or Master plumbing license or bachelor's in construction management (as required by project scope)
Strong understanding of plumbing systems, drawings, site plans and prints
Clear understanding of complex construction sequences and processes and relation to building codes
Proven ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectively
Familiarity with job costing, material tracking, and daily logs
Knowledge of OSHA standards and site safety protocols
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Clear communicator who can work with clients, PMs, and field teams
Solution-oriented and calm under pressure
Comfortable with tech (tablet documentation, scheduling tools, email)
