Superintedent Position Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor the work and progress of subcontractors to ensure contract compliance, quality, and adherence to the project schedule

Oversee job site safety & compliance with EM 385 1-1/ OSHA regulations

Maintain jobsite awareness for compliance

Provide and work with a detailed 3-week look ahead schedule on a weekly basis

Maintain and review punch list process to ensure all are addressed and executed in a timely manner

Manage close out process and warranty responses with project manager

Maintain positive professional relationships with the Government officials, the subcontractors, material suppliers, the office and inspectors

Oversee site conditions to maintain general organization and cleanliness for the project

Initiate and conduct weekly jobsite meetings

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in construction for a General Contractor, federal experience a plus, but not a must

Ability to meet tight timelines and deadlines

Experience managing work crews, equipment utilization, material purchases, and subcontractors

Demonstrate proficiency in the ability to review and read construction plans, specifications submittals

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

Experience utilizing construction management software; Procore is preferred

OSHA Certification, EM385 1-1, First aid and CPR required
