JOB DESCRIPTION: DELIVERY DRIVER
COMPANY: Superior Farms
LOCATION: Dixon, CA
DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Donnell Wiegand, Vice President, Transportation and Procurement
POSITION OVERVIEW: The driver is responsible for delivering company products to its client in a timely manner and ensuring product safety and integrity. Driver will establish an effective rapport with all customers and clients along the route.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Class A License
Up to date CDL medical certification
No accidents in the last 2 years, 2 years Class A driving experience.
Be able to drive automatic and manual shifting trucks.
Able to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
Be able to lift up to 75 lbs

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Daily runs to the Bay Area, Napa, and Central Valley. Multiple stops per day.
Usual type of truck: Bobtail refrigerated
Home daily (5 days on / 2 days off), Monday-Friday, Day/First Shift
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obey all traffic laws.
No driver will report to work or drive a truck while under the influence of alcohol.
Be ready to drive within 15 minutes upon arrival to the plant.
Notify the VP of Transportation in case of mechanical failure or lateness.
Notify the VP of Transportation if you are running late.
Notify the VP of Transportation if there are any route deviations.
Work overtime if required.
Report ALL accidents, whether minor or major, and complete required reports.
Ensure that driver’s license is always valid.
Other duties as assigned.

PAY: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
