    Description/Job Summary

    The EZ Street Asphalt Regional Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service selling Superior Paving EZ Street mix to customers while supporting the company's overall goals and objectives. Achieve sales/revenue goals by becoming an expert on the EZ Street product (its uses and potential market), developing customer relationships, generating customer leads, and successfully securing client agreements.

    Responsibilities/Duties

    • Manage daily sales of EZ Street mix asphalt in the sales area, (VA, WVA, DC, MD).
    • Develop productive relationships with new, existing, and internal customers - generate leads.
    • Maintain existing customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction with product quality.
    • Execute business development action plans for defined targets to ensure sales objectives are met
    • Maintain knowledge of competitor prices, product quality and relevance in the market.
    • Manage customer prices and discounts, and participate in managing delivery logistics & scheduling
    • Create purchase orders in a timely manner according to company procedures and practices.
    • Analyze weekly and monthly reports to maximize the marketplace.
    • Communicate regularly with plant personal and management to understand customer needs and requests.
    • Plan weekly sales calls. Develop and identify prospects from current clients, referral leads, and other sources to ensure sales goals are achieved.
    • Prepare and issue reports on prospect pipeline, current sales, forecasts, and market trends to ensure plant and branch operations can effectively manage their business units
    • Represent Superior EZ Street Mix Asphalt at trade shows and conventions
    • Report sales activity using sales management software
    • Assist in the implementation of the strategic marketing plan, department sales objectives and individual sales plans to ensure sales goals are met
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    Requirements

    • 2 years of customer service experience, sales experience preferred.
    • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel & Word)
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively disseminate information
    • Must be able to build relationships, provide quality customer service, and work effectively with a variety of personalities and levels within an organization.
    • Ability to work in a high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
    • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize resources and projects with little supervision.
    • Ability and willingness to abide by Superior's Code of Conduct on a daily basis
    • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
    • Ability to travel regionally (VA, WV, MD, DC with occasional overnight travel, night work, and attendance of weekend events.
