Responsibilities: • Clean swimming pools and filtration using certified pool equipment • Maintain record of paperwork and services performed • Test pH levels for water quality and add or maintain chemicals levels • Discover and repair leaks or cracks in the pool area’s structure, plumbing, or pipes • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace faulty equipment • Remove and install new underwater lights • Advise customers on best preventative maintenance practices • Skim debris from the water's surface, brush the sides and bottom of the pool, and vacuum dirt and debris from the pool floor • Check and balance chemicals in the pool to maintain proper pH levels • Inspect pool equipment, such as pumps and filters, and report any issues to the supervisor • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backwashing filters and cleaning skimmer baskets Qualifications: • Must have a valid driver’s license • Candidate must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions • Previous experience as a pool technician and understanding of common pool maintenance techniques, chemicals, and equipment • High school diploma or GED required • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and dexterity are required Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly
