    HR Specialist Salary: $40,000 - $65,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Simple IRA Match + Employer Paid Life, STD and LTD + PTO and Holidays

    Basic Qualifications:  Relevant 4-year degree or 2 years of job-specific experience

    THE FOLLOWING IS THE "A" PLAYER DESCRIPTION FOR THIS ROLE:

    Hiring 

    • Make candidates feel valued by communicating with them in a clear, timely, and professional manner
    • Organize all interviews to ensure that candidates feel welcome and comfortable and hiring managers are prepared to conduct a successful interview
    • Ensure that we get as much efficiency as possible out of our applicant tracking system while ensuring that the status and notes associated with each candidate are up to date
    • Develop and maintain an exceptional onboarding experience that makes new team members feel welcome and existing team members feel prepared for their arrival.

    Training 

    • Support trainers and training classes by organizing the location, materials, and equipment needed for an environment that promotes learning

    Culture and Engagement

    • Look for ways to promote the desired culture
    • Support the annual employee engagement survey process

    Compensation and Benefits 

    • Communicate compensation and benefits to candidates and new hires in a clear and accurate way
    • Answer questions and help resolve employee issues related to compensation and benefits in a timely manner
    • Coordinate open enrollment

    Performance Management

    • Ensure that an A Player Description is completed for each position
    • Ensure that the most up to date version is readily available to both employee and supervisor

    Policies and Procedures

    • Be a valuable resource to employees with questions related to our policies and procedures
    • Listen to employee feedback and suggest ways to improve our policies and procedures

    Collaboration

    • Actively participate in department planning discussions
