    The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

    Supervisor \- Echocardiology at our Mission Viejo, CA location have a few positions available and they are full-time and you will work a 8-hour day shift.

     

     

    This is a Magnet designated hospital providing a full range of specialty health care services.

    Supervises and coordinates daily operations of the Cardiology Department, in conjunction with the Manager of Cardiovascular Services/Nurse Manager, in order to ensure efficient operations and competent skill levels. Is responsible for QI program development, implementation and follow-up. Is responsible for recruitment and orientation of new employees as well as maintaining employee files, work schedules, annual reviews and competency testing. Is a source of technical expertise in equipment needs. Is responsible for all duties of a registered Echocardiographer as outlined in the Echocardiographer job description.

    Required Qualifications:

    Coursework/Training Completion of an AMA accredited Echocardiogram program (minimum of one year in length)

    Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or

    Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or

    Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

    Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

    2 years Recent full time experience in Echocardiography.

    1 year Experience in acute care hospital setting


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Associate's Degree In a related health care field Or Credentials with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing, International.

    Upon hire: Membership in a professional organization such as the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, the Society of Vascular Technologists, or the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine or the American Society of Echocardiography

    *Recent supervisor or management experience is mandatory.
