Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor, Environmental Services - Full Time, Evenings - Environmental Srvcs - Monday - Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM with Alternating Weekends.
In this role, the successful candidate Must possess interpersonal skills necessary for the effective leadership of assigned personnel. Possess skills necessary to prepare work schedules, prioritize work assignments and maintain a variety of records. Prepare reports; review discharge schedules and ensure adequate supplies are available for efficient operations of department. Knowledgeable and proficient with Hospital Policy and Procedures, Infection control and safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred, de-escalation and first aid training. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment. Organizational and Interpersonal skills. Basic personal computer knowledge and intermediate word processing/spreadsheet skills.Two or more years related progressive work experience.

NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $66,300.00 - $68,931.72 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
