    Summary

    We are looking for a self-motivated and engaging Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Operations team. If you have a desire to be in an exciting industry, and at a fun place to work where you can apply and implement your Quality career expertise, then Aristocrat is for you!

    To be successful as an SQE, you should have excellent analytical and technical skills with strong attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch SQE should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    What You'll Do

    • Provides quality subject matter expertise throughout product lifecycle.

    • Translates design requirements, helps establish Critical-to-Quality characteristics throughout design, works with suppliers, and supports production.

    • Visits vendor facilities and observes the manufacturing environment to review and assess procedures.

    • Performs regular quality control audits to ensure vendors continue to work in compliance with standards.

    • Assists in reviewing incoming supplies and products from vendors to check for defects and ensure quality.

    • Maintains detailed reports on supplier quality and performance, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.

    • Provides technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.

    • Serves as a liaison between company's senior management and the vendors to identify quality issues and find solutions.

    • Manages and reports on internal & external corrective actions.

    • Assists in problem solving and Root Cause Analysis.

    • Provide training to suppliers and internal teams, as needed.

    • Institutionalizes long-term strategic quality improvement planning.

    • Supports continuous improvement of ATI product design & processes.

    • Standardizes Supplier Quality processes, metrics, and procedures.

    • Contributes to create, present, and support implementation of creating a culture of quality.

    What We're Looking For

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field or experience.

    • 5 or more years of experience

    • Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Data Systems, MS/Power BI.

    • History of accomplishments in various organizations/industries

    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

    • Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills.

    • In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.

    • Good working knowledge of quality control standards and government compliance, including but not limited to: 8D/CAPA, APQP, process control plans, FMEA, value-stream mapping, etc.

    • Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.

    • Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency.

    • Excellent communication and liaison skills

    • Working knowledge of ISO9001 standards

    Preferred:

    • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ-Certified Quality Engineer, Lean Manufacturing Certification, hands-on application experience in deploying improved Quality Systems internally and externally, Supplier Auditing, Supplier, Design, & Production Quality Engineering.

    • Working history/familiarity with electronic design, product manufacturing and associated special processes (i.e. powder coating, injection molding, welding, machining, metal fab, etc.)

    • Ability to speak multiple languages a plus (Spanish/Chinese)

    This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate. (Includes, but not limited to FBI Background check, others)

    Pay Range

    $103,286-$191,817

    Pay Rate Type: Salary

    Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
