  • Responsibilities

    The SUPPLY CHAIN ASSOCIATE ANALYST will be responsible for compiling data and supporting development of performance metrics for the North American supply chain team in the areas of commodities, customer support, logistics, sales & operations planning, specialty grain, and tolling operations. Support of improvement projects and initiatives within the areas of supply chain in addition to manufacturing plants and sales will also be required. The goal is to use continuous improvement standard methodologies to control cost, improve service levels, and ensure customer satisfaction is met while building relationships with internal stakeholders.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Execute data maintenance and validation on existing data sources and connections.

    • Perform planned and ad hoc cost, rate, and service analyses.

    • Handle vendor invoice maintenance and dispute resolution.

    • Identify opportunities for process and metric improvements and support implementation.

    • Support small, medium, and large supply chain project requirements as needed.

    • Prepare and review system documentation and specifications and test business processes to ensure data governance and process adherence.

    • Offer resourceful and creative solutions to supply chain daily challenges.

    • Embrace change with quick adaptation to dynamic work environments.

    • Build cross functional relationships to reinforce best practices within the supply chain group.

    • Prioritize workload and proactively communicate with peers, business stakeholders, and internal customers on deliverables and timing.

    • Collaborate with peers to leverage technology on opportunities within supply chain.

    • Support KPI and dashboard visualization development to enable data interpretation to business leaders for optimization of cost, quality, and service.

    • Support automation of supply chain process workstreams by understanding industry best practices.

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

    • 0-3 years’ relevant business experience.

    • Associate’s degree in business, supply chain management, data analytics, industrial engineering, or related field, preferred.

    • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, preferred.

    • MS Office suite experience and familiarity with data visualization software and advanced o365 tools.

    • Experience with ad hoc analyses using vlookups, pivot tables, and other common functions.

    • Familiarity with ERP, supply/demand planning, and transportation planning software such as SAP, JDA (BlueYonder), BluJay, MercuryGate, or Oracle, preferred.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function well independently and as a team member.

    • Ability to handle verbal & written communication, simple presentations, and attention to detail.

    • Independent decision making, planning, and time management skills, as well as structured work habits.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and organize & prioritize workload to meet deadlines, paired with the ability to improve status quo.

    • Ability to solve problems through creative solutions and commitment to follow issues through to completion, including documentation.

    • Continued learning to improve problem solving skills.

    • Demonstrated capability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and peers.
