Main tasks and responsibilities
- Analyze and prepare data, support the solution architectural component, model the end-to-end process, create visualizations, document, and provide deliverables.
- Capture and translate business requirements and process flow to design and model.
- Manipulate, clean, format, and analyze complex data sets.
- Run scenario experiments to meet client specs and objectives.
- Identify opportunities or next steps for creating supply chain efficiencies and savings for the client.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and root cause analysis to make recommendations.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the client's supply chain and business challenges.
- Collaborate with the client and the project team to build business and workflows to help the team bridge the gap between the current state and future state.
Minimum requirements for the position
- This position requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Due to the nature of the work and applicable government requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens.
- Experience in defense, government, or large-scale logistics environments strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting cost/scenario analyses to executives
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations
- Experience with optimization modeling (linear programming, network optimization, etc.)
- Familiarity with simulation concepts and tools (FlexSim, AnyLogic, Python-based modeling)
- Proven ability to scope ambiguous problems and identify high-impact quick wins
- Data Skills: Experience with data pipelines, ETL tools (Alteryx, Data Guru), and API integration
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of logistics, demand planning, inventory optimization, and network optimization
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and develop data-driven solutions
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and improve processes
