We are a fast-growing, precision electro-mechanical manufacturing and service company specializing in high-performance components for CNC machines. For nearly three decades, we have built a strong reputation as a global leader in the design, manufacture, repair, and support of high-speed spindles and related systems. We serve demanding industries including robotics, woodworking, metalworking, stone and marble, glass, plastics, and composites — where speed, reliability, and uptime are non-negotiable.
We are seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Ninja to take full ownership of our global purchasing, sourcing, and supply chain operations. This is a high-impact role for an experienced procurement and supply chain leader who thrives in a dynamic, lean environment and loves solving complex challenges around cost, quality, speed, and availability — especially when large-volume orders aren't always an option. You will leverage automation, data analytics, AI tools, and relentless execution to optimize every link in the chain and directly impact our bottom line and customer delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end global supply chain and procurement strategy, including sourcing of industrial parts, components, sub-assemblies, and finished OEM products.
- Build, manage, and continuously optimize a network of primary, secondary, and tertiary suppliers across multiple countries, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery agility.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with tenacity while fostering long-term, mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
- Drive just-in-time and lean inventory practices to minimize working capital without compromising service levels or production needs.
- Implement technology-enabled solutions — including automation, data-driven insights, and AI tools — to improve forecasting, visibility, endpoint management, and overall efficiency.
- Oversee logistics, cross-border compliance, last-mile delivery, and inventory management with a focus on speed and precision.
- Identify and eliminate waste, reduce total cost of ownership, and solve chronic issues related to part availability, quality, and lead times.
- Develop and execute strategies for operational agility, sustainable practices, and continuous improvement across the entire supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and sales teams to ensure supply chain decisions support business growth and customer expectations.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions or alternative sourcing when needed.
- Stay ahead of market trends, geopolitical risks, and emerging technologies to keep our supply chain resilient and competitive.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Leader, or Global Sourcing professional in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment (ideally with electro-mechanical, precision components, or machinery parts).
- Strong track record of optimizing complex supply chains, reducing costs, improving delivery performance, and lowering inventory levels — even with lower-volume or high-mix parts.
- Deep expertise in global sourcing, supplier negotiation, contract management, and building resilient multi-tier supplier networks.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, procurement tools, data analytics, automation, and preferably AI-driven supply chain technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies and measurable results.
- Tenacious negotiator and relationship builder who can thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities; comfortable operating with limited resources and high expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, etc.) are a plus.
- Local candidates in the Charlotte, North Carolina area are strongly preferred.
Compensation
Base salary range is $90,000 – $140,000 depending on experience, proven results, and cultural fit. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus that can reach up to 100% of base. We frequently hire at the lower end of the range for exceptional talent and reward strongly for delivering outsized results.
This is a meritocracy — we reward operational excellence, creativity, and impact, not tenure or entitlement. If you are a high-energy, solutions-oriented professional who wants to own a critical function and be compensated generously for your contributions, this could be an outstanding opportunity.
