  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As a Supply Chain Specialist, you oversee all activities related to planning, transportation, and warehousing. You analyze operational performance metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and customer complaints, and take action to resolve any issues. You also collaborate closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure all logistics operations—such as shipping and delivery—meet quality and safety standards. In addition, you support buyers during negotiations with key suppliers.

    QSHE & Compliance:

    • Responsible for motivating/ensuring everyone works safely and according to the stow’ QSHE standards to ensure that all work is done in a safe, efficient, and qualitative way.
    • Supports and embraces a Lean mindset and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
    • Ensures all activities and processes are carried out in compliance with stow’s QSHE standards, internal policies, operating procedures, and applicable local regulations.

    Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Maintaining inventory.
    • Review data from shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and operational issues.
    • Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Monitor logistics operations in coordination with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    • Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
    • Provide training and support across salaried and hourly teams.
    • Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to improve supply chain processes.
    • Resolve operational issues such as delivery delays or incidents in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with other departments to develop coordinated plans that support business growth.
    • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
    • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and strengthen partnerships.
