    Zina's Fine Foods, a family-owned producer of artisanal salads, dips, and ready-to-eat meals, is seeking a Supply Chain/Purchasing Manager. We are looking for someone with strong experience in sourcing ingredients for the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) market, particularly from international suppliers, and expertise in maintaining optimal inventory levels for continuous production.

    Key Responsibilities:

    International Sourcing: Develop and execute strategies to source premium ingredients from Asia, Europe, and other regions, with a specific focus on the RTE food market.

    Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with international and domestic vendors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients.

    Inventory Management: Ensure that key ingredients are always available, managing inventory levels to balance just-in-time delivery and avoiding shortages or overstocking.

    Logistics & Transportation: Coordinate international shipping and manage logistics to minimize lead times and ensure timely ingredient delivery.

    Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

    Compliance & Food Safety: Ensure that all sourced ingredients comply with food safety regulations, including SQF, BRCGS, and other relevant certifications.

    Forecasting & Demand Planning: Work closely with production teams to forecast ingredient needs based on production schedules and anticipated demand in the RTE sector.

    Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs through improved sourcing, logistics, and efficient inventory management.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree (field of study is flexible).

    5+ years of experience in supply chain and purchasing within the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food industry.

    Proven experience in managing suppliers from Asia and Europe, with a strong understanding of import/export regulations and logistics.

    Expertise in inventory management, ensuring that ingredient supplies match production demands without interruption.

    Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., SQF, BRCGS).

    Strong negotiation, vendor management, and logistics coordination skills.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
