    Job Description

    As a member of the Bulletproof supply planning team you will develop production replenishment plans and provide analytical support to optimize inventory management for several key product categories at Bulletproof co-manufacturing locations and Amazon. You will interact closely with a cross-functional teams including Co-Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehouse, Transportation, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Quality to assist in developing new products, executing promotions, and driving results that help ensure business success. Position reports to the Sr. Supply Planning Manager. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who enjoys problem solving and is self-driven by an entrepreneurial spirit.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop production plan timing and quantity based on latest demand signal to ensure 98.5% customer fill rate and lean target days of inventory KPIs.
    • Meets or exceeds mutually agreed upon inventory turn and inventory reduction departmental goals.
    • Set the correct levels of inventory (safety stocks) within the supply plan by understanding the demand volatility and supply chain lead times.
    • Scenario Planning Responsibility: Develops sell through scenarios to support innovation product launches, packaging transition timing, discontinuations, product allocations, and At Risk inventory.
    • Identify potential bottlenecks or risks to supply and recommend proposals to mitigate and ensure that co-manufacturers can meet demand.
    • Communicate production plans and schedules for all finished goods products in your portfolio, including new product launches with co-manufacturers.
    • Issue production Purchase Orders to co-manufacturers and ensure on time delivery to warehouse.
    • Work with the Procurement team to ensure timely materials orders to support production.
    • Participate in weekly production calls with co-manufacturers and cross functional operations team.
    • Communicate supply constraints across the product portfolio to internal sales channel partners.
    • Communicate with co-manufacturing team about potential bottlenecks or risks to supply and recommend proposals to mitigate and ensure co-manufacturers can meet demand.
    • Coordinate product discontinuances and ensure cleanup of obsolete materials & system information.
    • Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions and follow up on discrepancies between Bulletproof ERP and Co-Manufacturer inventory.
    • Drive process improvement and operational excellence within our vendor community by reducing costs, defects, and lead times, while increasing innovation, automation, and economies of scale.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of previous experience in supply planning. Food, beverage or supplement planning experience a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability working with co-manufacturers, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to navigate large data sets and demonstrated willingness to learn new systems. Power BI, VBA, SQL a plus.
    • Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
    • Interpersonal effectiveness, strong organizational & communication skills, and the ability to achieve results in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Willingness to challenge the status quo and innovate.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable information.
    • Adaptability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to changes in the business and operational landscape.
    • Problem-solving skills to understand/foresee financial and service implications of various actions.

    Additional Information

    Annual base salary gross: $70,000 to $80,000/year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
