Who we are: Next Century Spirits (NCS), headquartered in Zebulon, North Carolina, is a full-service distilled spirits and marketing company specializing in the development of spirits for its owned brands, private label clients, and bulk supply. The NCS portfolio includes Pocho Fino Tequila, Nue Vodka, Blue Chair Bay Rum, Bear Fight Whiskey, Numbskull – a cool mint and chocolate-flavored whiskey, Creek Water American Whiskey, Caddy Clubhouse Cocktails, Calamity Gin, and Henderson Whiskey. Primary Duty: We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to own the development, execution, and continuous improvement of Next Century Spirits’ integrated supply chain planning process. This role is responsible for translating demand signals into executable supply plans, managing supply chain constraints, and ensuring alignment between inventory, production, procurement, and commercial priorities.

This individual will serve as the operational owner of the S&OE planning cadence, supply chain data integrity, and planning systems within NetSuite. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, systems-driven, and capable of driving alignment across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end supply planning process, translating demand forecasts into executable supply plans across internal production and co-manufacturing partners

Lead the S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) process, identifying gaps between plan and execution and coordinating resolution of supply constraints

Maintain and improve supply chain master data integrity within ERP systems (NetSuite), including planning parameters, inventory settings, and product structures

Manage inventory planning logic, including ABC/P/D/X segmentation, safety stock strategies, and service level alignment

Monitor and manage material availability risks, production constraints, and supply disruptions, including proactive identification of run-out risks

Support acquisition integration activities including SKU onboarding, inventory positioning, supply alignment, and transition planning across sites and product lines

Develop and maintain core supply chain KPIs including forecast accuracy, plan adherence, service levels, inventory health, and material availability

Build and maintain reporting and dashboards to provide visibility into supply chain performance, risks, and planning exceptions

Partner with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between supply plans, production capacity, and business demand

Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, system workflows, and data governance across the supply chain function

This Job Might Be for You If:

You enjoy solving complex planning problems and bringing structure to ambiguous environments

You are highly analytical and comfortable working in ERP systems and planning tools

You understand how demand, supply, inventory, and production interact as one system

You take ownership of outcomes, not just analysis, and actively close gaps between plan and execution

You are comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing decisions without direct authority

You are proactive in identifying risks and constraints before they impact the business

You thrive in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities and acquisition-driven complexity

You communicate clearly and can translate operational data into actionable insights for leadership

You want to work in an industry that is a ton of fun . . . with people who are a ton of fun.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or a related analytical role in manufacturing, food & beverage, CPG, or similar environments

Strong experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred), including planning parameters and master data management

Demonstrated experience owning or supporting supply planning processes (demand-to-supply alignment, inventory planning, or S&OE execution)

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or BI tools

Experience with inventory planning concepts such as safety stock, service levels, and ABC classification

Ability to identify constraints, analyze root causes, and coordinate cross-functional resolution of supply issues

Strong communication skills with ability to influence across Operations, Procurement, and Finance

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, analytics, operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    Preferred Qualifications

Experience in spirits, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environments

Experience with acquisition integration or multi-site supply chain transitions

Familiarity with supply planning tools or advanced ERP planning modules

Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies

Experience building dashboards or KPI reporting for operational leadership
