    ABOUT SUPPLYPIKE

    SupplyPike is a fast-growing, well-funded software startup with a big mission: building the platform for collaborative supply chain. We're looking for self-driven individuals who are eager to make immediate impact on our growing sales team.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Business Development Rep role is an entryway to our larger sales team and is a crucial part of our overall sales process. You will be working towards becoming an Account Executive while learning the ropes of the industry, sales strategies, and SupplyPike products.

    As a Business Development Rep, you will spend most of your time helping sales and marketing teams with various outbound outreach efforts. You will help discover target customers, make sure we are a good fit for each other, and show them the value we bring to the table by doing product demos.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Research and grow the top-of-funnel of the sales pipeline.
    • Correspondence with prospective customers via phone and email.
    • Identify, qualify, and research prospective CPG companies which are within SupplyPike's target market. 
    • Identify key decision makers within these companies, leveraging resources like LinkedIn.
    • Cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications, understanding their pain points, and communicating SupplyPike's business benefits.
    • Tasks: contact enrichment, email sequences, product demos, cold calling & emailing, follow ups, inbound lead management.

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

    • A bachelor's degree in a business major or equivalent experience.
    • Self-starter with attention to detail, persistence, and follow-up skills.
    • A dynamic personality with a drive to reach the target contact.
    • Organized, excellent at time management, and able to effectively communicate status to multiple parties.
    • Excellent at finding information about anybody on the internet.
    • Experience in enterprise software sales is a huge plus.

    LOGISTICS

    The interview process consists of up to three stages: 15-minute discovery chat; 2-hour research project on your own time; and a 1-hour virtual interview. Although we will fully consider remote applicants, our preference goes towards NWA residents.
