We’re looking for an Assistant Program Director to help ensure high-quality services and support for individuals in our Supported Living Services (SLS) program. This role is perfect for someone who is both people-focused and process-driven—ready to guide a team, uphold compliance standards, and champion our clients’ rights and dignity.

Position Overview: As the Assistant Program Director, you’ll play a key leadership role—supporting day-to-day operations, supervising staff, overseeing service delivery, and ensuring that all program components align with agency standards and regulatory expectations. You'll act as a liaison between families, staff, and external agencies, all while maintaining a supportive, compliant, and person-centered program.

    Key Responsibilities:

Ensure services outlined in each individual's Service Plan are delivered effectively.

Oversee documentation, progress reports, assessments, and ensure accuracy and timeliness per regional center standards.

Provide staff with clear guidance on data collection and program protocols.

Advocate for the rights and inclusion of individuals in the community.

Ensure team members meet and maintain all certification and training requirements.

Represent the SLS program professionally in meetings, events, and outreach opportunities.

Monitor program effectiveness and suggest adjustments as needed.

Ensure all documentation (billing, timesheets, incident reports, etc.) is completed accurately and submitted on time.

Lead team meetings and communications; help coordinate shift coverage when necessary.

Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members; ensure all hiring requirements are met.

Attend and contribute to IPP meetings with regional center representatives.

Oversee safety, incident reporting, and ensure prompt communication of concerns or incidents.

Deliver monthly and quarterly trainings for supervisors and Direct Support Professionals.

Track medications (when required), safeguard client funds, and maintain all required releases and consents.

Support ongoing marketing and visibility of the SLS program.
