Job Description
We are looking for a qualified, motivated, and entrepreneurial technology audit professional based in Los Angeles, CA. The IT Manager will be responsible for performing technology audits in the areas of design, efficiency, and effectiveness of internal controls. You will collaborate with various business teams to identify risks and control gaps and make valuable recommendations to improve Company's IT control landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning activities, development of audit program, and execution of internal audits and IT control assessments in the following areas: cyber-security, IT strategy and governance, IT operations, business continuity and disaster recovery, network and infrastructure security, cloud and third-party risk, programs and projects, automation, GITCs and application controls, and regulatory/compliance requirements
- Use data analysis tools to automate audit testing and develop techniques for continuous auditing
- Review processes and controls against leading practice and industry frameworks, identify gaps in design and execution, and communicate issues and recommendations to senior management
- Lead kickoff, status, and closing meetings with team and key stakeholders and contribute to IT Audit knowledge base and internal practice development initiatives
- Draft comprehensive executive summaries and final reports for delivery to senior management and document and review engagement work papers in accordance with industry-accepted internal audit methodologies
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an internal audit or IT compliance function as an internal employee or as part of Big 4/Public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; CISA, PMP, CISSP or CRISC certification is preferred - Broad technical or information security background
- Experience leading and executing risk-based IT-related internal audits and/or risk and control assessments, leveraging IT governance and control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO27001, SOC2/3 and PCI DSS - Lead ISO 27001 auditor certification preferred
- Experience with Java, Python, or C++, and SQL preferred.
- Ability to interact with technical software development engineers and business leaders, have a technical background and the ability to learn new technology concepts quickly.
- Ability to translate technical risks into business issues.
- Ability to prioritize findings and recommendations and facilitate multiple stakeholders to agree on appropriate solutions and verify that risks are mitigated appropriately.
