    Our client, an e-commerce and wholesale distribution company, is seeking a motivated and analytical Inventory Analyst & Manager to join their procurement team.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, computer proficiency, and excellent organizational skills. This position offers an opportunity for growth within the department, with the potential to advance to a managerial role after comprehensive training.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize sales data to forecast order quantities, considering trends and seasonality across various product categories.
    • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
    • Develop and track key performance metrics for the procurement team, including inventory levels, lead times, and raw material prices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement of new and trending products, aligning with market demands.
    • Manage procurement-related projects aimed at optimizing inventory management processes.
    • Facilitate effective communication with vendors, agents, and warehouse managers to streamline procurement operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred, but not required.
    • Proficiency in computer software, particularly Excel and Google Sheets, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and manipulation.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and implement effective solutions.
    • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience.
