Job Description

We are looking for an experienced React Developer with good interpersonal and communication skills to take ownership of building SaaS Applications. You should be able to design and develop responsive webpages. As a Frontend Developer you should be able to communicate innovative ideas and approaches to problems effectively and efficiently, with the end user in mind. Your responsibilities would include designing new screens/components, refactoring existing screen and removing dead code.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TaxCaddy is a product in-House at SurePrep LLC for iPhones, Android, web and tablets. TaxCaddy provides web interface to CPA and Consumer. A mobile interface for consumers only is on our roadmap.

TaxCaddy makes gathering tax documents and sharing them with your CPA easy. TaxCaddy retrieves 1099s, 1098s and W-2s automatically. You can upload or snap photos of tax documents year-round and store them with bank vault security. You can also electronically sign tax documents and connect directly to various financial institutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of new highly-responsive, web-based user interface

• Working closely with the product team and graphic designers

• Strong expertise in functional programming and design patterns

• Knowledgeable in writing unit, integration and end to end test cases

• Learn and understand user interactions

• Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it

• Follow methodology and best practices for software development

• Follow project management processes

• Consistently use PMO prescribed tools like Jira and Confluence

• Work with Mumbai based teams

• Address high priority customer support issues independently

• Participate in design and architecture of forward-looking projects

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years experience in software development

• 2+ years experience with React and Redux

• 3+ years experience with JavaScript

• Prior experience of working with teams across the globe

• Ability to multi task, context switch and work in fast paced dynamic environment

• Energetic, highly organized and self-driven individual

• Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development project

• Must have exceptional communication skills
