BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced React Web Developer with good interpersonal and communication skills to take ownership of building Web Applications. You should be able to design and develop responsive webpages. As a React developer you should be able to communicate innovative ideas and approaches to problems effectively and efficiently, with the end user in mind. Your responsibilities would include designing new screens/components, refactoring existing screen and removing dead code.

The associate should be able to work directly with Mumbai (India) based team members. The job position will either involve Morning/Evening calls/meeting to facilitate working with Mumbai. Whenever is most convenient for the associate.

BRIEF PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SurePrep is one of the fastest growing software companies in Orange County, CA. TaxCaddy is a product developed in-House at SurePrep LLC for iPhones, Android, web and tablets. TaxCaddy provides easy- to-use web interfaces to CPA's for their consumers. A mobile interface for consumers and a light-weight CPA mobile app.

TaxCaddy makes gathering tax documents and sharing them with CPA's easy. TaxCaddy retrieves 1099s, 1098s and W-2s automatically. Upload or snap photos of tax documents year-round and store them with bank vault security. Electronically sign tax documents and connect directly to various financial institutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js

• Responsible for development of new reusable components, web-based user interface, and front-end libraries.

• Work with product team and graphic designers, translating designs and wireframes to high quality code.

• Strong expertise in functional programming and design patterns using JavaScript.

• Knowledgeable in writing unit, integration and end to end test cases

• Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it

• Follow Scrum methodology for software development

• Follow TDD and DevOps best practices

• Follow project management processes laid out by PMO

• Consistently use PMO prescribed tools like Jira and Confluence

• Work with Mumbai based teams

• Review code and work performed by peers

• Address high priority customer support issues independently

• Participate in design and architecture of forward-looking projects

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years experience in software development Developments

• 4+ years experience with React,js, Redux and its core principles.

• 4+ years experience with JavaScript

• Experience with Bitbucket/Git

• Experience with Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc

• Experience with Build pipelines and continuous deployment tools

• Prior experience of working with teams across the globe

• Ability to multi task, context switch and work in fast paced dynamic environment

• Energetic, highly organized and self-driven individual

• Flexible working hours

• Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development project

• Must have exceptional communication skills
