Surety Client Manager - Insurance - Base Salary to 115k/year - San Diego, CA
Our client, an established independent insurance brokerage and risk management firm, is seeking a Surety Client Manager to manage and service an assigned book of surety business. This position serves as the primary agency contact for assigned bond accounts and is responsible for ongoing surety account management, bond servicing, and coordination with clients and surety markets.
The Surety Client Manager will handle bond requests and account activity while maintaining financial documentation and supporting the development, marketing, and servicing of new and existing surety business.
Responsibilities:
Manage and service an assigned book of surety bond business, serving as the primary agency contact for assigned accounts
Process and coordinate surety bond requests, bond issuance, renewals, and ongoing account servicing
Maintain and oversee client financial files, bond documentation, applications, and related surety account records
Coordinate with surety carriers and markets regarding bond requests, account information, underwriting documentation, and ongoing servicing needs
Assist with the development, marketing, and servicing of new surety business and existing client accounts
Support commercial and contract surety accounts, including applicable bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds, license bonds, and permit bonds
Qualifications:
3+ years of surety experience, including experience with surety bonds and bond account servicing
Experience processing and servicing surety bond requests and maintaining related account documentation
Experience working with client financial information and surety underwriting documentation
Compensation:
Base salary in the 80k - 115k/year range, plus team bonuses, excellent health insurance, 401k, profit sharing, bonuses for earning designations, educational reimbursement, PTO, Paid holidays, etc. In office training and then switching to remote or hybrid.
