As a Sales Representative, your job is to build relationships with customers who work in property management, facilities maintenance, hotel management and construction. Our services are unique, so it will be your job to educate and build trust with our customers, helping them to understand a new approach.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with 12-15 contacts a day.
Via on-site visits, with phone and email follow-ups
In a variety of industries including property management, hotels, movers, builders and others
Manage decision-making and approval process
Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
Educate on Surface Experts capabilities and scope
Validate level of customer satisfaction and opportunities to improve
Build the trust of our customers and foster referenceability
Identify new leads and opportunities in existing and new markets
Work within a team and process
Use sales scripts and role-playing practice
Document sales activities in CRM; from lead to work order and all steps in between
Collaborate to overcome challenges and objections
Required Qualifications:
Excitement and energy to be part of something new with significant growth potential
Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills
Goal-oriented, self-starter, and energetic
Professional, caring and service-minded
Readiness to work with a metrics-based, process-driven sales approach
Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record
Experienced using mobile technology to support productivity
Preferred Skills:
Sales experience; specifically, cold-calling and/or B-to-B sales
Experience in related industry, such as multi-family, property management, construction or trades
Experience using CRM tool and process
Experience working in base + commission environment
