At Surface Experts, we are looking for someone who is looking to succeed in a field sales role!

    As a Surface Experts Business Development Specialist, your mission is to find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are unique, so it will be your objective to educate and build trust with our customers. You don’t need an extensive background in sales, if you are curious, teachable and eager, we can coach you to be successful in the business. We are looking for someone who lives out our core values of serving others, being a problem solver and trusting the process.

    Responsibilities:

    Meeting with 10-15 contacts a day

    Works within the company sales process

    Finds and generates leads and opportunities

    Builds relationships with customer visits, walk-throughs, and follow-ups

    Network at local association meetings

    In a variety of industries including property management, hotels, movers, builders, real estate companies... etc.

    Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships

    Educates customers on broad service offerings to capture revenue across multiple services

    Validating level of customer satisfaction and opportunities to improve

    Earning the trust of our customers

    Builds and maintains network of thought leaders and influencers relevant to the business and engages them as needed

    Documenting sales activities in Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool - from lead to work order and all steps in between

    Reporting accurately and weekly

    Brainstorming to find new leads and opportunities

    Qualifications:

    Sales experience; specifically cold calling and/or B-to-B sales with at least 1 year of experience in customer relationship management

    Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record

    Energetic goal oriented self-starting professional, caring and service-minded

    Ready to work with pace, in a metrics-based, process-driven team

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience multifamily apartment or hotel industry, property management or construction

    Experience using a CRM tool and business process

    Experience working in base + commission environment

    Associates degree or higher a plus

    Base Compensation: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
