Surface Experts of West Hartford is a start-up with a father and son ownership team. We are looking for Repair Technicians to help us grow and deliver our unique services in the Greater Hartford area. Our ideal Repair Technician is someone who wants to be a part of a family business, has a knack for fixing things, enjoys solving puzzles, and has an artistic eye for design and color. This is an 8:00 - 5:00 job with no weekend work or on-call duties.

Surface Experts Repair Technicians fix chips, dents, scratches, stains and cracks on floors, countertops, bathtubs, cabinets, and other indoor surfaces at apartment complexes, assisted living communities, hotels, dormitories, and some residential homes.

Just about anyone can make a great Surface Experts Repair Technician, but there are a few key requirements that help us determine whether someone be able to quickly learn our processes and techniques to do the job well.

Key Requirements:

Experience working with your hands, whether that’s in construction, maintenance, painting, woodworking, or even a hobby like fixing cars.

Experience working in facilities maintenance can be very helpful.

Understanding how to match colors, patterns, and texture is a large part of what we do.

If you are color blind, this is not the job for you.

The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment.

Clean & Insurable driving record.
