SUMMARY:

Surfline Wavetrak is looking for a IOS ENGINEER to help evolve our Surfline mobile applications. You'll be working with a small team working on high value subscriber growth initiatives. This is a high energy, fast-paced role where iterative, rapid but reliable development is key to rolling out A/B tests that'll drive subscriber growth. You'll also be owning the payment and authentication layer within the Surfline iOS app ensuring our in-app purchase implementation is rock solid. As an iOS Engineer, you are expected to be a problem-solving, product-building, forward-thinking engineer who has an interest in driving growth and adoption of Surfline.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build high-value A/B tests driving significant subscriber growth on the Surfline iOS app using Swift
• Build and maintain authentication and in-app purchase logic
• Ship code often in a fast paced agile environment with continuous deployment
• Solve tough problems with clear and simple solutions using your innate engineering creativity
• Work closely with other engineers in a small, informal team environment
• Contribute to the product development, mission, and success – way beyond checking off development tasks
• Dedicate yourself to constantly learning and advancing your mobile development skills

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A BS/MS in Computer Science or related degree
• Experience building complex applications for iOS devices using Swift and numerous cocoa frameworks
• Experience with in-app purchase APIs
• Experience with TDD development
• Extensive knowledge of object-oriented software development
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment with a version-control system like git
• Strong sense of urgency and passion to drive subscriber growth through A/B tests
• A passion for mobile that borders on fanaticism
• Top notch communication skills

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• An app in the App Store
• An understanding of native app CI/CD
• Experience with MVVM architectures
• A passion for the ocean and/or beach related activities
• A good joke or interesting story to tell
