    Job Title: Scheduling and Registration Specialist

At The Surgery Center of Fairbanks (SCF), we’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our fast-paced, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. SCF is nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, advanced surgical technology, and compassionate service to Alaskans.

    Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities:

    Schedule procedures, verify insurance, and manage prior authorizations.

    Counsel patients on financial aspects, including payment plans and insurance coverage.

    Perform front-desk duties: greet patients, manage calls, and prepare charts.

    Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain accurate records.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.

    Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Prior patient representative experience

    Preferred: Patient financial counseling or ambulatory surgery center experience.
