    Come work with us in a very busy, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center that prides itself on our efficiency and excellence in patient care! We are searching for a Director of Nursing to lead a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or call!

    RISK MANAGEMENT MEETINGS/REPORTS

    OVERSIGHT OF:

    EDUCATION

    PATIENT SATISFACTION

    MEDICATION ROOM ORDERING AND INTEGRITY

    MEDICATION COMPLIANCE/AUDITING

    PATHOLOGY RESULTS

    UNIT RECORDS INCLUDING ALL LOGS

    PHYSICIAN AUDITS FOR REAPPOINTMENT

    MEDNET SUPERUSER

    CONTINUED JOINT COMMISSION COMPLIANCE

    ASSIST ADMINISTRATOR

    Qualifications

    1. Cooperative and supportive work attitude toward employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
    2. Ability to promote a favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and the general public
    3. Ability to make decisions and solve problems

    Requirements:

    1. Graduation from an accredited nursing program, minimum ADN or AAS in Nursing, BSN Preferred
    2. Minimum of 5 years OR and leadership experience.
    3. ASC experience preferred.
    4. Specialty certification required within twelve months: OR = CNOR or CNAMB; Perianesthesia = CAPA
    5. RN with an active Alaska nursing license
    6. BLS, ACLS, PALS
    7. Evidence of leadership qualities
    8. Strong ethical and moral character references
    9. Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American English
    10. Computer literacy Preferred
    11. ASC experience
    12. $20,000.00 sign on bonus
