    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the smooth and efficient management of all surgical supplies and surgical equipment to facilitate quality surgical care of all SRMC patients.
    • Assist in ordering and maintaining all surgery and anesthesia departments' stocked and non-stocked supplies and special orders.
    • Assist with validating that the ordered supplies are in contract compliance.
    • Function as the liaison for implants and surgical vendors.
    • Manage and oversee the electronic track core human tissue system.
    • Establish a process for returns and/or exchanges of inventory and supplies not needed, ordered/shipped in error, and documents on return/credit tracker.
    • Maintain electronic files of packing slips.
    • Document all orders both minor and capital.
    • Effectively communicates order issues: back orders and all other issues in a professional manner to internal and external customers.
    • Assist with item master maintenance and integrity.
    • Provide all SRMC providers and employees with assistance of obtaining resources, managing supplies, and delivering goods and services to providers and patients.
    • Coordinate with the finance team to resolve any issues or discrepancies between purchases.
    • Obtain contracted GPO quotes for supplies and minor and capital equipment purchases when requested.
    • Manage all special requisitions, submit purchase orders for the Surgery Department.
    • Document all orders on spreadsheet: order, status information, and delivery dates. Track and communicate status on all orders and requests to appropriate persons and departments.
      • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements:

    • High school graduate or GED preferred.
    • Prefer inventory-related, entry-level experience.
