ABOUT US:
Our Practice is looking for a dedicated Surgical Coordinator with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a great patient experience. Our Coordinators work with patients requiring eye care procedures primarily focused on Cataract and Cosmetic surgery.

Salary range $22.00- $26.00
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as an effective liaison between the patient, surgeon, primary care physician, and the surgical facility in all aspects of pre-operative preparations.
Responsible for educating patient(s) on respective surgery details and options to ensure superior patient satisfaction and all patient needs are accommodated.
Coordinates and schedules surgeries, follow-up appointments as designated by physicians.
Interacts with patients, physicians, and other staff both within the Clinic and at outside facilities providing accurate, timely and responsive information.
Coordinates process and routes all paperwork as required to meet physician and facility requirements.
Notifies patient of all scheduled appointments.
Collects all pertinent information for upcoming surgery, such as bookings, lens orders, insurance, H&Ps, and signed consent forms, and
Answers all telephone inquiries from patients, their families, or primary care physicians concerning surgery and/or related concerns.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management.
Identifies scheduling barriers and implements solutions to improve scheduling results based on predetermined goals.

Strong knowledge of clinical / medical practice operations, procedures, terminology, and administrative procedures.
Proficient in computers and relevant software applications and practice management technology.
