Job Description
Surgical Directions is currently seeking a motivated, organized and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our growing company. This role will be focused establishing and monitoring key financial performance metrics as well as building and running various financial processes and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Accounting department to ensure accurate preparation of monthly financial statements (facilitate A/P & A/R, analyze GL account activity, prepare, or review other supporting documentation).
- Build and maintain budget and forecast templates for use by managers.
- Create ad hoc templates, reports, and analysis for use by managers to evaluate their businesses, including industry benchmarking.
- Prepares and reviews the annual forecast/budgeting process.
- Evaluates and analyzes financial and operating reports and data.
- Develops conclusions and recommendations and communicates to management.
- Performs analyses to assist in business and financial planning.
- Produces and analyzes reports of current fiscal status and forecasts future performance based on sound knowledge of operations assigned.
- Analyzes and researches variances to identify problems or trends and present solutions.
- Reviews existing accounting, reporting and data management systems and methods for adequacy.
- Contributes to development and/or modification of financial systems and applications to enhance reporting and information capabilities.
- Ability to sort/mine large sets of data from multiple data sources (General ledger, CRM, Excel) to identify trends/variances.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information; secures salary information.
- Performs regular or ad-hoc financial reporting.
- Possess strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Participates in projects or special studies of significant import to the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree with focus on Finance or Accounting required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Critical thinking, active listening and complex problem-solving skills are required.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience preferred.
